About the Role
(Sibling of 1C0210G) Schedule: Saturdays 9am-12pm. Additional on-call shifts are available if DSP is interested in more hours.
The client is a 14-year-old boy who is very sweet and a friendly kid. He is working on his communication skills but will need full assistance with transferring, hygiene (showering/toileting as he wears diapers) and feeding (ensure his food is smashed or cut up well since he cannot chew on his on to be able to swallow). He is not able to walk, so his family would like the DSP to help him practice walking. No behavior concerns. During his free time, he likes to play with his toys. DSP can engage the client in activities he enjoys and take him for walks when it's nice out. 1 dog and 3 cats in the household.
