About the Role

Schedule: Mon-Fri 5pm-8/9pm.

The client is a 5-year-old hyperactive young boy. The family requires a female DSP that can provide transportation and support to, from, and during appointments. The client likes to move around a lot at home and use his iPad. He is very friendly and loves to play with his toys at home. The family is working on helping him use the bathroom independently. The family would like a DSP that can be hands-on and teach him basic life skills including brushing his teeth, putting on his clothes, and washing his hands. The family would also like DSP to be able to reach his ISP goals for the year. Transportation REQUIRED and support for ABA appointments

Requirements

Daily Requirements: 

  • Scheduling – each DSP has a set schedule with the assigned client(s) 

  • Smart phone – use a cell phone to clock in/out for visits and complete the daily progress notes. 

  • Patient, Kind and Positive – caring for clients with disabilities requires someone who can be patient, support the client through kindness and understanding, and provide positive reinforcement throughout the shift. 

  • Driving – depending on the client, they may need to be driven to community events or appointments.  Valid license and insurance required if driving will be needed.  

  • Support – develop and maintain positive working relationships with the assigned client(s), their families and the FRR Support Manager
