About the Role

(Sibling of 1C0030G) Schedule: Mon-Fri 5:30/6am to around 8am (school drop off transportation needed), Afterschool hours from school 2:30pm-7pm around bedtime. Once per month school will be out at 11:30am. Split shift available or DSP can choose to work only one schedule either before or after school.

The client is an 8-year-old boy. Tasks include dropping off and picking him up from school, maybe going to the park. Caring for him in the morning so their dad can make breakfast for everyone or give him an after-school snack and play with him. Transportation required.����

Requirements

Daily Requirements: 

  • Scheduling – each DSP has a set schedule with the assigned client(s) 

  • Smart phone – use a cell phone to clock in/out for visits and complete the daily progress notes. 

  • Patient, Kind and Positive – caring for clients with disabilities requires someone who can be patient, support the client through kindness and understanding, and provide positive reinforcement throughout the shift. 

  • Driving – depending on the client, they may need to be driven to community events or appointments.  Valid license and insurance required if driving will be needed.  

  • Support – develop and maintain positive working relationships with the assigned client(s), their families and the FRR Support Manager
