About the Role
Schedule: Monday-Friday 11:15am-4pm, occasional weekend availability.
Client is a 6-year-old girl and needs a female DSP who is g-tube-trained and who is vaccinated for COVID and the Flu. This client gets all food and medication through a G-tube, and needs full assistance with toileting, hygiene, safety, etc. She is very sweet and affectionate and has a habit of putting her mouth on things/people, i.e. giving open-mouth kisses. Parents would like a DSP who can provide transportation from school, then to go to community activities and/or provide in-home care until about 4pm. They are okay with multiple DSPs covering these shifts. They are also interested in occasional weekend coverage and occasional overnight/relief care shifts. This client thrives on routine as this helps her with transitions, so parents would like DSP(s) to create a routine for days spent together, and to incorporate potty training into said routine.
